You had to park where?

I spent this last Saturday at Stanely Park.  My first wedding was at the Vancouver rowing club.  It was for an out of town couple who had decided to get married in our great city.  James and Vanessa had met with me during the olympics and we had begun a process of planning their wedding ceremony soon afterwards.

I have to admit this may be the shortest ceremony I have ever done.  Both James and Vanessa wanted it short and sweet and I was happy to oblige as it was pretty hot out on the patio.

James looked great in his black Nike shoes and Vanessa was stunning in an off white form fitting dress.  We also had the opportunity to include their son in the ceremony as he joined for us the final few minutes.   

It was a lot of fun and I very much enjoyed being part of the their big day. I wish you both all the best even if I did have to run for 10 minutes across the park in my suit after finally finding a parking spot.
